Handsome husky's homeless but a keeper
If the Arizona Humane Society held a contest for most handsome homeless dog, the winner likely would be Aragon, a 1-year-old Siberian husky with bright-blue eyes and an athletic build.
Turned in as a stray, Aragon is a gregarious, affectionate pooch who loves human company, loves to play and has energy to burn. On hot days, he enjoys a dip in the pool (with supervision, of course). A challenging treat-filled toy, such as a Kong, can keep him occupied for hours.
Aragon's history with other animals and kids is unknown, so bring the family (excluding cats) when you meet him. You can adopt Aragon at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Humane Society's Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 W. Dobbins Road, Phoenix. The $100 fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a collar, ID tag and leash, and a follow-up exam.

Updates: Fluffy, the 7-year-old cat featured last Saturday, remains available for adoption. Homes have been found for four previously featured pets: Macy, a tabby cat featured April 4; Tifa, a border-collie mix featured March 28; April, a Parson
